The Prairie Project was conceived by Mark Mangini, Music Director of The Choral Society of the Hamptons and the Greenwich Village Singers and planned jointly by Mr. Mangini and the two organizations. The Choral Society of the Hamptons was founded in 1946 by choir director Charlotte Rogers Smith. The Greenwich Village Singers, now in its 31st season, was founded in 1976 The Prairie Project would not be possible without the generous support of its many contributors.
